Since 2008

About us

Since 2008, the Studenti Bocconiani Liberali – Milton Friedman Society has promoted individual and economic freedom at Bocconi and beyond.

The SBL team at Bocconi

We are committed to spreading liberal economic culture and individual dignity as instruments of freedom, democracy and justice for all.

We promote the reform of institutions that impede democracy, market economies, individual enterprise, self-determination, human rights, economic independence and freedom from all forms of coercion.

We stand for equality of opportunity, not equality of outcomes.

Identity

How we see ourselves

Classical liberals, free-marketeers, libertarians: the association holds different views, and we often argue among ourselves.

What we share is the idea that the State should do a few things and do them well, and that people should decide everything else.
